Job Description : GM FINANCE BANGLADESH Job Description Summary: The role shall have the overall responsibility for the Finance which aims to safeguard the assets of the plant, provide full and fair reporting of business performance, and work as part of the senior management team to deliver profitable growth. Assist management in develop, oversee and implement the programs and projects that meets the short term and long-term goals of the organization. To be able to understand/ record / report and ideate on business drivers and to add value to optimization and efficiency parameters at manufacturing locations Job Description Detailed 1. To ensure Monthly accounts closing & trial balance finalizations 2. To ensure timely submission of monthly MIS 3. To ensure all applicable Tax, Accounting and Statutory compliances 4. To prepare, monitoring & control of annual budgets and expenses are analysed for optimizing the same. 5. To be able to understand/ record / report and ideate on business drivers and to add value to optimization and efficiency parameters at manufacturing locations To provide necessary support and analysis for investment cases (CAPEX) and post implementation follow up 7. Maintain an effective and efficient internal control structure ensuring compliance with internal procedures and SOP's throughout the value chain 8. To ensure coordination and liasioning with will external stakeholders viz., Statutory auditors, tax authorities, Bankers etc., 9. To ensure harmony and cohesion among team members and cross functional coordination on all activities Expectations on Skills Knowledge & Experience The candidate shall have 1. Total experience of not less than 6 years 2. Prior experience of handling manufacturing plants with a minimum annual turnover of $50 Mn (international exposure is added advantage) 3. Proven track record of value creation to the organisation through initiatives on capex & cost saving measures 4. Have working knowledge in ERP's viz., Oracle / SAP and preferably implementation knowledge 5. Should have handled tax assessments, filing returns under both direct and indirect taxes 6. Should have handled core banking and funding of projects 7. Ability to train staff and appetite to handle cross functional issues Qualifications CA / CWA / CIMA / CMA or any other equivalent professional course
