Purchase Lead

Job Description : Purchase Lead –Mining Operations (West Africa) We are looking for an experienced Purchase Professionals to manage end-to-end procurement for large-scale mining operations in West Africa. This is a critical leadership role supporting operational continuity, cost optimization, and vendor governance. Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic procurement for mining, plant, spares, HEMM, consumables, and services Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project and operational needs Manage vendor selection, negotiations, contracts, and performance management Ensure timely procurement, logistics coordination, and inventory optimization Drive cost control, localization initiatives, and compliance with company policies Collaborate closely with Operations, Projects, Finance, Logistics, and EXIM teams Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing, governance, and audit requirements Ideal Profile: 20+ years of procurement experience in Mining / Metals / Heavy Industry Strong exposure to Africa operations, preferably West Africa Proven leadership in large, multi-site procurement environments Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management Willingness to relocate/work in Lagos, Nigeria. charukashyap99@gmail.com
