20 yearsJob Description : CFO EGYPT The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee and direct the finance, accounts, commercial, legal & IT functions for the operations of the company in Egypt. This role will focus on driving financial controls, cash and working capital management, innovation, standardization, compliance and optimization across the entity. The CFO will also manage strategic relationships with international financial institutions (IFIs) such as IFC, EBRD and commercial banks to ensure financing readiness, covenant compliance, and alignment with lender expectations. Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Contribute to development of Business Strategy that is aligned to Indorama Group vision and Strategy. Establish short-term, mid-term and long-term strategic initiatives for growth, profitability and establishing the company as global benchmark in business excellence, tracking of these initiatives up to implementation. Standardization & Innovation: Develop and implement strategies to standardize financial processes and reporting systems as per the Corporate requirements, industry best practices and local regulations. Drive innovation in financial management, enhancing efficiency, and business performance. Implementation of latest Technology to drive efficiency and productivity across all business processes. Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting: Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and analyses and ensure the accuracy of accounting as per Egyptian accounting standards and IFRS and timely circulation of financial reports to various stakeholders. Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision- making. Focus on Cost Control and meeting budgeted targets. Treasury & Capital Management: Lead financing initiatives, including project finance, capex financing, and working capital facilities. Coordinate lender due diligence across financial, legal, ESG, technical, and operational workstreams. Act as senior contact for multilaterals during reviews, negotiations, and portfolio monitoring missions. External Relationships: Manage the relationship with Institutions, bankers, regulators, auditors, tax department, JV partners and key business partners and ensure such relationships facilitate business processes. Leadership & Team Management and Capacity Building: Lead and mentor the department heads, ensuring alignment of their objectives with the broader corporate financial strategy. Ensure training and development plans for equipping the team with required skills and experiences. Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations including international sanction policies. Lead the compliance processes and coordinate with auditors and legal teams for statutory and external audits, taxation compliance, and reporting. Achieve benchmark ESG performance aligned to the stakeholders vision. Establish a comprehensive and strong internal audit system covering entire spectrum of activities and business processes. Lead any legal cases till they are resolved, taking inputs from other functions involved. Reporting & Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor financial KPIs, ensuring accurate performance tracking and reporting for each company. Report key financial metrics to senior management. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Operations, HR etc.) to ensure financial strategies support business objectives. Cash Flow Management: Oversee the management of working capital and cash flow forecasting, ensuring financial health across the business units. Risk Management: Identify potential threats and risks to business; develop and implement mitigation strategies related financial and business risks including compliance, currency fluctuations, interest rates, and credit exposure etc. Establish systems for fraud detection and set up proper internal controls to eliminate any revenue leakages. Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements in Egypt, including financial, contractual, and operational obligations. Follow-up on ongoing legal cases for best possible outcomes. Review of legal documents including financing documents Insurance: Oversee management of insurance covers and premiums in Egypt to cover various of risks. Key Interactions CEO, The peer group (Function Heads), Department Heads of all functions. Finance Team, Corporate Finance team, including Group CFO Internal auditors, external auditors and financial consultants, lawyers, International Financial Institutions and Bankers (such as IFC, EBRD) Regulators, Standards setting bodies, Tax authorities Investors, JV partners, Key business partners including vendors and customers. Preferred candidate profile The candidate should be CA / ACCA / CPA / CFA with a minimum of 20-25 years of experience in leadership finance roles, ideally in multinational corporations or industries such as chemicals, fertilizers Experience of dealing with multilateral institutions like IFC, DEG, EBRD, FMO etc. will be an advantage IRAMA GLOBAL SERVICES
