Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER MENA Overall Job responsibility: 1. Establish & Develop country as a Profit Center.Prepare & present Business strategies for Freight Forwarding & Logistics. 2. Accountable for the P&L of the company. 3. Responsible for the strategic investment in Logistic Assets. Business Development 1. Strategize and drive sales, business development & Operations for the country. 2. Meet, develop & convert identified business opportunities into strategic partnership. 3. Identify newer business opportunities for developing 3PL, Freight & Transport. Implement various strategies & KPI’s for market penetration & coverage. 4. Develop and expand overseas agent network. 5. Build and maintain harmonious relationships with Group Companies. 6. Visit and represent the company at Local and international Trade fairs and conferences. Operations & Administration 1. Identify and establish vendor network for procurement and support services. 2. Maintain proper records of service level agreements / benchmarks with each of them. 3. Develop and maintains good relationship with the key vendors, negotiate pricing, terms of contract and also ensures that a track of supplier performance is maintained. 4. Set out specific performance standards in such key areas as operations and customs activity, project management and warehouse management; evaluates performance against these standards and report. 5. Oversee to ensure all legal & bylaw compliance is complied with. 6. Responsible to ensure the proper record & maintenance of office & its functioning including but not limited to office rental agreements, furniture procurement & maintenance, operative agreements for electricity, internet, telephones etc. 7. Keep a tight vigil on accounting functions & outstanding payments. 8. Design both internal & external fiscal safeguards. HR Management 1. Build organization in line with the vision from-HQ. 2. Manage all regulatory and government related matters 3. Prepare annual budgets for HR needs of the organization. 4. Responsible for recruitment, selection, appointment, training, counseling, and disciplining of employees. 5. Effectively Communicate and broadcast values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions. 6. Oversee and approve Performance Appraisal of the organization. Desired Skills required are 1. 15+ years of experience in contract logistics and project management. 2. Background in Third Party Logistics and Warehouse Management systems 3. Working knowledge of WMS, TMS and IT integrations with SAP/ Oracle 4. Knowledge of warehouse process, operations and WMS system 5. Excellent with people interaction & relationship building. 6. Strong Communication and presentation skills and Microsoft excel 7. Analysis and Good acumen and solution provider.
