Job Description : FERTILIZER PLANT HEAD EGYPT Responsible for the overall plant performance and delivery of manufacturing budgets and strategic initiatives. Establish the strategy for Manufacturing Function to achieve Global Benchmark performance in all operating areas and Operational Excellence and align it to the vision, values and strategy of the Group To collaborate with other Functional Heads to facilitate seamless operations, achieve business targets and help each other succeed. Create a positive and motivating work environment which inspires innovation and high level of performance. Establish a culture of ownership, accountability, responsiveness, respect for timelines and seamless team work . Establish the KPIs for the Manufacturing functions and departments with an objective to reach global benchmark level of performance in Productivity, Reliability, Quality, EHS, Cost and Customer Satisfaction. Conduct Performance Reviews covering KPIs, budget Targets, improvement projects, HR initiatives etc. Ensure highest level of EHS performance. Establish time bound Sustainability Targets for the site and follow through. Capacity Building of the Manufacturing Team - Training and development activities for leadership skills, functional and soft skills. Provide coaching and Feedback to team to accelerate learning. Review of the Root Cause Failure Analysis, FIR/ FAR and MOCs received from the plants for Productivity/Reliability/Quality/EHS aspects. Ensure that the actions are tracked to closure. Establish a system to monitor Effectiveness of closures and solutions. Implement global best practices such as TQM, TPM, Quality Circles, Six Sigma and PSM at every level of organization. To coordinate with the external parties viz. Vendors, Technology providers, Raw material and service providers to ensure latest technologies are adapted and implemented in the plant. process improvement or plant modifications, benchmark plant processes with peer industries to identify any improvement opportunities for the plant Build business case for new ideas and get these approved. Lead the Capital Projects and improvement projects and assign resources, track to closure as per targets. Interact with technology suppliers, experts and industry peers to continually explore new opportunities for improvements in technology, people practices and customer service. Interact with Plant Heads of other plants of the company to learn best practices and share learnings from failures. Responsibility of Complete compliance to the Legal and regulatory requirements related to the legal entity. Compliance Group policies and application international standards. Actively engage in selection of vendors for plant related material and service suppliers and ensure high standard s and capabilities of vendor base. To liaison with external agencies for execution of project, review detailed designs by the agency, revise and approval the final Technical documents, and closely monitor the quality of work and progress. Identify and devise risk mitigation plans Key Interactions : Internal: Production/Engineering/Supply Chain/Finance and other teams External: External Auditors, Government Agencies/ Regulatory bodies & Customers Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering Masters Degree in Engineering will be an added advantage 25- years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Leadership role in a continuous Fertilizer, Chemical, Petrochemical Process IRAMA
