Job Description : Food and Safety Manager for an Agro commodity Trading Group. Locastion- Agro and FMCG Industry preferable. * Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant, ensuring it functions efficiently and effectively. * Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits related to wastewater treatment and discharge. * Scheduling and supervising maintenance and repairs of ETP equipment to keep it in working condition. * Managing the procurement and usage of chemicals for treatment while optimizing costs. * Monitoring the quality of treated water to meet discharge standards and conducting regular water quality tests. * Ensuring that safety protocols are followed to protect personnel and the environment. * Preparing and managing the budget for ETP operations, including cost control and cost- saving measures. * Keeping records and preparing reports on ETP performance, compliance, and environmental impact. * Supervising ETP staff, including operators, and providing training and guidance. * Identifying opportunities for process improvements to reduce water consumption, energy use, and environmental impact. * Maintaining documentation related to ETP operations, permits, and regulatory compliance. * Developing and implementing contingency plans for handling ETP emergencies or spills. * Coordinating and participating in audits and inspections by regulatory authorities. * It involves a combination of technical knowledge, regulatory compliance, and management skills.
