Operations Head 

Job Description : OPERATIONS HEAD NIGERIA FOR TERMINAL IN OIL AND GAS an oil and gas logistics innovations company with development, operations and management capabilities. They are looking for Head Operations - Terminal Management Providing leadership, direction and supervision to the day-to-day operations of the group's terminals including Terminal Operations, Maintenance, EHS compliance, ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency at all terminals, enforcing safe practices in Terminal operations while providing leadership and training to all terminal employees in accordance with the established companies Logistics Limited policies and operating procedures. Key Duties & Responsibilities Overall accountability for all activities at storage and aviation terminals, ensuring product receipts, loading and inventory systems, proper interface with maintenance/engineering, HSSEQ, tank farm and refueling operations and all other terminal activities are effectively executed Provides oversight and manages all terminals efficiently and effectively by preventing stock-outs, down-time, breakdown, unrest, and downtime as per agreed target levels. Oversee product quality control by overseeing all permits, certifications, product testing and related activities are carried out in a timely manner in accordance with laid down regulations Responsible for ensuring that products received and distributed are properly accounted for and appropriately documented Drives HSSEQ standards at all the terminals and facilities, ensuring terminals are operating in accordance with all safety regulations, company-defined policies and procedures and international best practice with particular reference to JIG, ICAO and IATA. Ensures best practice and Standard Operating Procedures, as well as company-defined policies and procedures for all terminals, are in place and complied with research Ensure that all loading equipment is kept in working order and at a high serviceability level of performance. Ensures compliance and liaison with regulatory authorities such as DPR, NPA, etc Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for both internal and external service providers for the terminals and tracking their performance against SLAs. Oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of all terminals with a view to efficiently tracking and monitoring terminal operation’s performance against set targets Manage external relationships with stakeholders - Government and regulatory agencies, clients, competitors, management etc on all operational issues and attend stakeholders and regulatory bodies meetings. Participates in project management for projects that emanate from the terminals as well as in promoting business development activities and corporate initiatives Oversea Community relations ensuring excellent relationship at all times Develops, Plans and executes operational and capital budgets, proactively interpreting and responding to financial data and trends and ensures accountability for financial performance targets Oversee and ensure all equipment at the terminals are kept in working order and at high serviceability level performance Ensures that all daily, weekly and monthly reports are developed as required, timely and effectively Oversees the overall management, coaching, training and development of employees. Candidate Experience and Education: Minimum requirement: At least 14 years of practical experience in depot/oil terminal management or similar field or oil and gas and a combination of the petrochemical sector, the International experience is desired. Education: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Preferred)
