Job Description : Warehouse Manager Industry: FMCG | Supply Chain | Warehousing Location: Nairobi 15+ years experience USD 5K CTC Our client is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, ensure efficient stock management, and support business continuity through strong inventory control, process improvement, and team leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong operational discipline and a continuous improvement mindset. Key Duties & Responsibilities Ensure strict adherence to FIFO and LIFO principles during order picking. Manage smooth stock movement, monitoring fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs. Ensure goods are well arranged, brand-wise, and maintained in good condition. Minimize backorders by coordinating inter-warehouse stock sharing and rebalancing. Support warehouse re-balancing initiatives across locations. Monitor stock-out levels and share timely reports with Procurement for replenishment. Reduce operational lead times in picking, loading, and dispatch. Minimize transit losses and warehouse breakages, ensuring accountability and invoicing where applicable. Conduct quarterly stock takes, prepare reports, and share insights for planning purposes. Share daily and weekly sales order trackers and warehouse performance reports. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security, including controlled access to the damages cage. Drive a proactive, innovative, and cost-conscious approach to warehouse operations. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of warehouse standards, systems, and best practices. Good understanding of FMCG manufacturing and distribution operations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills. Proven team leadership and people management capability. High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
