Job Description : PROCUREMNENT HEAD CHEMICALS UPSTREAM NIGERIA 20+ years experience Identify and Consolidate Chemical requirement in consultation with the User Group Define Min-Max Level of Chemical Inventory based on Consumption and Delivery Lead Time Develop New Vendors for Supply of Chemicals Issue RFQ Perform Commercial Evaluation Commercial Negotiation Award Purchase Order as per the Company Policy Purchase Order Life Cycle Management Expediting for Timely Delivery Collaborate with Customs and Finance Teams for Seamless Logistics and Payment Processing Comply with Audit Requirements Issue Resolution Internal & External Stake holders Evaluate Vendor Performance Mentor Team Members Reporting / MIS Roles and Responsibilities Desired Candidate Profile Knowledge of Oil & Gas Chemicals and its Global Supply Base Knowledge of best Supply Chain Practices Good Understanding of Purchase Processes, Policy and System Global Sourcing Experience Excellent Negotiation Skills Strong Interpretation Skills Good Communication Skills Good Analytical Skills Good Multitasking and Time Management Skills Good Team Player Proficiency in Computer Skills like Windows, Sourcing / ERP System (Preferred) Basic Qualification: Graduate Engineer plus MBA (Preferred) with good Academic Work Experience: Minimum 20 Years of Work Experience as Buyer in Procurement Of Chemicals for Oil & Gas Operations Perks and Benefits The offered salary will be a total discretion by the Board of the Company and will be based on the following factors: · Your interaction with the interviewer · Your current savings per month which you earn after all the deductions and expenses · If you are currently employed / or not currently employed · The discussion will be done by their HR person post your selection .
