Senior Accountant to join our Finance

Job Description : Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is essential in supporting our project-based and multi-entity operations. Qualifications & Experience: - CA / ACCA qualified (mandatory) - 12–15 years of relevant accounting experience - Strong UAE experience in IT, Trading, Contracting, or Project-based companies - Hands-on expertise in Project Accounting, Cost Control, and Revenue Recognition - Proven experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and P&L management - Strong working knowledge of IFRS standards and statutory compliance Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end accounting operations across projects and business units - Oversee project costing, WIP, billing, margin analysis, and financial close - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Lead budget preparation, variance analysis, and cash-flow forecasting - Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE regulations, and internal controls - Support external audits, tax filings, and management reporting - Partner with operations and senior management on financial decision-making - Drive process improvements and automation initiatives ERP / Systems Exposure: - Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar platforms - Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and financial reporting tools - Experience in ERP implementation, migration, or system optimization is an added advantage Key Competencies: - Strong analytical and commercial mindset - Ability to work independently with ownership - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - High attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving approach
