Job Description : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Reporting To: CEO & Board of Directors About the Role We are seeking an experienced (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, planning, and management of a major diversified holding company with interests in retail, real estate, and investments. This executive will drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and provide strategic guidance to support ambitious growth initiatives. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Planning Developed and execute the Group’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives. Advise the CEO and Board on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and major capital expenditures. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across all subsidiaries. Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions. Financial Operations & Reporting Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and payroll. Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local regulations. Manage cash flow, working capital, and debt structure to optimize liquidity and minimize risk. Direct internal and external audits and maintain robust internal controls. Risk Management & Compliance Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework. Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and tax requirements. Liaise with government agencies, financial institutions, and external auditors. Investment & Capital Management Manage the Group’s investment portfolio to optimize returns while maintaining risk profile. Evaluate and structure financing options for new projects and expansion initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or related field. Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are preferred. Extensive progressive experience in finance, with senior financial leadership experience (CFO or equivalent) in a large, diversified holding company or major retail/FMCG group. Proven knowledge of the Saudi market, including regulatory and tax environments. Experience in retail, real estate, or investment sectors is a significant advantage. Fluent in Arabic and English. Required Skills Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities, able to present complex financial information to the Board and non-financial stakeholders. Expert knowledge of IFRS and Saudi accounting principles. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale financial systems and digital transformation projects.
