20 yearsJob Description : Head – Exports / International Sales Head (Consumer Food Brands) Reporting to CEO / Business Head Location Mohali & International Travel Role Summary As Head – Exports, you will lead, strategize, and drive RKFL’s international sales business across ethnic markets and global corridors for consumer food brands including Namkeen & Snacks, Spices, Pickles, Cookies/Biscuits, Ready-to-Eat (RTE), Frozen Foods, and Tin/Canned Foods. You will be responsible for building and scaling export distribution networks, entering new international markets, managing export P&L, and delivering sustainable and profitable growth. The role requires strong strategic thinking, hands-on execution, distributor/partner management, and deep understanding of food export regulations, compliance, and trade dynamics. Key Markets: GCC / Middle East, UK & EU, North America (USA/Canada), Australia & New Zealand, Africa, South-East Asia Experience & Skills Required Mandatory 15+ years of total experience in FMCG Food Export / International Sales (consumer brands only) Proven success in building and scaling export businesses through distributors & importers Strong exposure to ethnic food markets across GCC, UK/EU, North America, etc. Hands-on knowledge of export documentation, trade compliance, certifications, and regulations Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and leadership capability Strong communication and cross-cultural stakeholder management skills Preferred MBA / PGDM in Marketing, International Business, Sales, or related field Prior export leadership experience in Namkeen/Snacks, Spices, Pickles, Ready-to-Eat, Frozen Foods, Packaged Foods, Cookies/Biscuits, Tin/Canned Foods CTC 18 lacs -24 Lacs + Performance-linked Incentives (Indicative range; final compensation to be aligned with experience and delivery capability) Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) Export sales growth (YoY) New market entry & distributor appointments Profitability & margin expansion SKU productivity & portfolio performance Compliance accuracy & zero shipment rejections OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) export execution Brand visibility and shelf presence in target markets Ideal Candidate Profile A seasoned export leader with a strong track record of growing consumer FMCG food brands internationally, especially within ethnic food segments. The candidate should be capable of driving end-to-end export strategy, distributor management, compliance, profitability, and team leadership to position Organization as a globally recognized ethnic food brand. experience in FMCG Food Exports, strong exposure to ethnic markets, and hands-on leadership experience across Namkeen, Spices, Pickles, Ready-to-Eat, Frozen Foods, Cookies, and Tin/Canned Food categories.
