Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER KENYA For flexi packaging Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of end-to-end production operations, ensuring the seamless execution of manufacturing processes, compliance with quality standards, cost efficiency, and safety regulations. Your core responsibilities will include managing production planning, process optimization using lean practices, quality assurance, equipment upkeep, inventory coordination, and leading a motivated team of supervisors and operators. Strong experience in plant management within the flexible packaging or related sectors, coupled with leadership in operational excellence, will be essential to excel in this role. An understanding of SAP ERP systems and comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing standards related to GMP, HACCP, and safety compliance underpin the necessary prerequisites. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Plant Manager or Operations Lead within a fast-paced, manufacturing environment—preferably within flexible packaging, films, or similar materials. A relevant technical qualification, such as an engineering degree or equivalent, combined with extensive experience in process management, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives, will position you advantageously. Demonstrable success in implementing lean methodologies, managing equipment and asset maintenance, and driving cost-saving projects are key accomplishments that will showcase your strategic and operational prowess.
