Job Description : GM COSTING INDIA Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul (Odisha), Inviting applications for GM Costing, F & A Education Qualification:- ICWA Experience 15-20 Years Must ensure that the candidate has experience in the steel industry and handling costing related assignments. Roles & Responsibilities Ø Carry out an assessment of profitability and finalize the plant production, rolling plan targets along with Departmental HODs asper the annual business plan for the plant Ø Finalize cost targets and monitor daily variance in cost (Total consumption costs, expenses) as per the annual budget plan for the plant Ø Prepare and review weekly costing sheet, profitability sheet for various products (Plates, TMT, Semis) and report any deviations for action Ø Supervise the annual budgeting exercise by plant HODs as per the Annual Business Plan for the plant Ø Manage and provide direction to a team of ~1-2 executives to prepare cost and expense reports, inventory reports, variance reports Ø Analyze costing and production variances across departments and finalize action plans with HoDsto reduces cost variances, etc. Ø Finalize and monitor implementation of cost savings in the departments along with departmental HoDs
