Job Description : Finance Director, London, SaaS, £120k Open to International candidates PE-backed SaaS business entering a critical scale-up phase. With strong product-market fit and ambitious growth targets, they are seeking a Finance Director to professionalise the finance function, act as a true business partner to the CEO and PE sponsors, and help drive value creation. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable building from first principles, and can balance strategic thinking with operational execution. Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team on strategy, growth initiatives, pricing, and investment decisions Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range modelling aligned to the PE value creation plan Support fundraising, refinancing, and exit planning (data room readiness, due diligence, investor materials) Provide clear, insightful reporting to the Board and PE stakeholders, including KPI dashboards and performance commentary Own the end-to-end finance function: management accounts, statutory accounts, cash flow, tax, and audit Ensure robust financial controls, processes, and systems appropriate for a PE-backed environment Oversee revenue recognition (SaaS / subscription models), ARR/MRR reporting, churn, cohort analysis, and unit economics
