Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER NIGERIA -- MARGARINE 10+ years experience · Experience in a modern margarine shortening or specialty fats plant, with at least 2-3 years in a production supervisory manager role. · Strong exposure to edible oils and fats processing (blending, interesterification hydrogenation fractionation) and margarine shortening crystallisation lines · Degree / Diploma in Food Technology, Oils & Fats, Chemical / Production Engineering or equivalent. · Experience working with automated PLC-controlled margarine lines is an advantage · Solid technical understanding of margarine/shortening production and fats & oils · Ready to relocate to Nigeria on bachelor status, with strong problem-solving and team-leading skills · Plan and control production of table margarine and bakery shortening as per monthly plan. · Manage the full process: oil & fat preparation, emulsification, chilling/crystallisation (scraped surface heat exchangers), resting/working and packing · Ensure product quality: fat profile, texture, melting/working properties, water distribution, salt and flavour; maintain HACCP, GMP and food safety systems · Coordinate with utilities and maintenance to ensure high line uptime and stable process conditions · Monitor and improve yields, rework, energy consumption and OEE · Lead and develop production teams, enforcing safety and hygiene standards. UG: Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Food Technology, Bachelor of Technology / Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in Production and Industrial Engineering, Chemical, Paint and Oil Technology PG: MS/M.Sc(Science) in Food Technology, PG Diploma in Chemical, M.Tech in Production/Industrial, Chemical, Paint/Oil
