Job Description : PORT CLEARANCE MANAGER GHANA Experience : 10 - 15 Years Roles and Responsibilities · Making Proper shipment planning & co-ordinate with the Production, Marketing, Quality and Account departments for execution of Export & Import shipment . · Responsible for pre and post shipment documentation preparation of packing list, Commercial Invoice, Shipments costing sheet. · Ocean freights negotiations with various Shipping Lines and finalized competitive freights and obtained quotations on monthly basis · Online container booking, placements of container for stuffing updating of container details, Packing & Loading and follow up till loading onto the vessel. · Submission of shipping instructions online /manually checking BL draft and final approvals as per SI and ordered placements. · Making Payments Ocean freights, Forwarding agent, Transporters and releasing OBL, SWB, Telex and submit to HO. · Deal with CHA & Forwarder for Rate negotiation, compare with other CHA & Forwarders rates & take best rates from them as per comparison · To prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly MIS Report on shipment landing costing for import and export. Shipment tracking reports, Clearing & forwarding cost, Transportation cost complete report analysis for import and export shipments. · Application of Export Incentives like tax exemption on VAT, NHIL, GETF, from GRA, by applying to free zone board incentives to free zone enterprises in Ghana. · Timely follow up and clear import shipments to avoid demurrage and detentions. · Implementing import and export process and reducing supply chain cost
