Job Description : Chief Operating Officer — Renewable Energy Platform (Global IPP) UK - Middle East - Europen experience required We are partnering with a high-growth renewable energy platform to appoint a Chief Operating Officer capable of scaling and operating a multi-country clean energy portfolio across wind, solar, battery storage, and emerging hydrogen assets. This is a rare opportunity to lead operations for an integrated developer-IPP active across 10–15+ international markets, driving delivery, performance, and operational excellence at scale. This role is built for a senior operator who understands how to translate strategy into execution across the full asset lifecycle — development, construction, asset management, and long-term O&M. You will work alongside executive leadership to create operating discipline, systems, and governance frameworks that enable rapid growth without sacrificing performance or control. We are seeking a leader with 20–25 years of renewable energy experience gained across complex international markets, with proven Middle East operating experience considered essential. You will bring a strong track record of managing geographically dispersed portfolios, delivering large-scale renewable assets, and implementing scalable structures within an IPP or developer environment. Key responsibilities include: • Driving operational strategy across multi-technology renewable portfolios • Overseeing delivery from development through construction and operations • Establishing scalable performance frameworks across regions • Leading and developing a 150+ person international organisation • Strengthening governance, risk management, and execution discipline • Supporting capital partners with transparent operational reporting • Embedding a culture of accountability, safety, and delivery excellence The successful candidate will combine deep technical and commercial understanding with executive leadership capability. You must be comfortable operating across cultures, managing diverse stakeholder groups, and building teams that consistently deliver in fast-growth environments. Experience navigating regulatory, commercial, and operational dynamics within the Middle East is critical.
