TOOL ROOM INCHARGE

Job Description : TOOL ROOM INCHARGE FOR THE PLASTIC INDUSTRY– INJECTION & BLOW MOULDS (MAKING & REPAIRS). Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following core duties: Maintenance & Repair: Execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on various injection & Blow moulds (hot runner, cold runner, multi-cavity, etc.) to ensure peak performance and extended operational lifespan. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mould issues using root cause analysis. Common problems include flash, short shots, warpage, part sticking, galling, and component wear Precision Repairs: Perform meticulous repairs and ensure precise alignment of all mould components, including cores, cavities, slides, lifters, ejector pins, guide pins/bushings. Operational Management: Adhere to established maintenance schedules for mould cleaning, greasing, and rust prevention. Manage tool room inventory of spare parts and materials, and oversee the departmental budget. Design & Development Support: Collaborate with mould designers and external tool makers during the mould development and fabrication phases. Participate in new mould trials and continuous improvement projects. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the production team with tooling expertise, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: A Diploma in NTTF / CIPET or Tool & Die Making Engineering is required. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in an injection & Blow moulding in tool room, specifically focusing on mould maintenance, repair, and modification & New moulds. Technical Proficiency: Must have the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models. Location- Nigeria/ Ogun State Status – Bachelor
