Job Description : HEAD OF DESIGN AND ENGINEERING PLATIC PRECIOSN PRODUCTS VIETNAM Open to expats with 20+ years experience in plastics The organisation is a reputable large organization in the FMCG industry, focusing in FMCG industry. It is known for its strong market presence and commitment to delivering high-quality products to consumers Oversee and manage all engineering operations within the manufacturing facility in Pune. Develop and implement design & engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all engineering processes. coordinate the industrial partner's development effort ensuring the timely development of industrial tools and process set-up to ensure timely delivery of overall toy production. Deliver timely cost modifications in line with company target costs. Monitor/Guarantee smooth production start-up. (4) Work with operations development to Monitor/Improve the industrial partners' performance. Lead & coordinate the Mold development with Chinese & Local Mold makers, Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering projects. Lead and mentor the engineering team to foster growth and innovation Stay updated on the latest technologies and implement relevant advancements in the engineering domain. A degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven expertise in small precision plastic components and can come from industries like toys, medical devices, automotive, and white goods. Should have exposure in mould design or injection moulding Should have global exposure of working outside India for atleast 3+ years Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in handling large-scale engineering projects. Proficiency in using modern engineering tools and technologies.
