About the job Your primary as Commercial Sales Director is to drive profitable growth in line with company objectives within the allocated customer base. You will be responsible for leading a team of people in the delivery of Turnover, Profitability and Business Building Terms targets within allocated customers. Lead the development of the future Customer Strategy for Retail. Together with the senior leadership team and other stakeholders within Sales, Marketing, Trade, Category, Finance, you will create and deliver the joint Business Plan with the customers in line with local strategic framework. You will be accountable for developing the strategic plan together with your KAM as well as field sales team, to drive sales, profit and net revenue capital exceeding targets in all categories across the portfolios. You will own the Customer Relationship and Define the Local Customer Strategy and influence the Global/Regional Customer Strategy (where appropriate). Responsibilities / Scope of the Role: Manage P&L from ‘top to bottom’ Lead a team of people in the delivery of Turnover, Profitability and Business Building Terms targets within allocated customers. Performance management and development of the KAM-team as well as Sales, as well as Trade/POS. Create and deliver the Joint Business Plan with the customer in line with local strategic framework. Delivery of the promotional plan and promotional Return on Investment targets within set budgets Develop and manage trade promotional investment strategy Develop and deliver customer/channel specific contact strategies with cross-functional retail teams. Develop multi-level relationships with the accounts Business Leadership: Lead the development of the future Customer Strategy for Sweden and potentially other markets. We are looking for the following background/profile +25 years FMCG experience and understanding Commercial acumen and good understanding of costumer management and Key Account Management as well as process development Commercial understanding of corporate and operational business Conceptual and analytical skills Development of strategies, tactics and measurable implementation Influencing and negotiation Strategic thinker with confidence to effectively deliver account plan Proven track record of P&L management, budget delivery and growth momentum Fluency in English and Swedish prefered Bachelor or Master Degree in related field Personality: Driven by achievement, development, ownership and partnership Strong Leadership & Communication skills Energetic and self-driven in pursuing and finishing objectives Confident, charismatic, proactive and resilient in all aspects Result-oriented, and natural planner with a critically assessment of own performance – quick learner, intellectually curious, pragmatic and of principle “I can and I will do” attitude – open to change and unfamiliar tasks Capable of building strong relationships Exceptional communication skills - both oral and written
