Job Description : Plant Head for the Engineering Plastic Injection Molding Unit GUYANA Your leadership skills, expert knowledge of molding processes, and dedication to long-term growth will be crucial for the success of this position. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity in the plant. - Coordinate with all departments to facilitate smooth workflow and effective communication. - Implement process controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency. - Monitor inventory levels, machinery performance, and capital expenditures. - Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards such as GMP and food safety management systems. - Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement necessary corrective and preventive actions. - Develop and execute strategies for continuous improvement in plant operations. - Analyze and report on production performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and quality enhancement. - Manage the maintenance of production and molding equipment effectively. - Provide leadership and mentorship to plant personnel to drive optimal performance. - Ensure on-time delivery schedules and maintain product quality standards. - Conduct training sessions for staff on relevant processes and safety standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Engineering (Manufacturing/Operations) with specialization in Plastic Injection Molding. - Minimum of 15 years of which 3 years of leadership experience in a similar plant environment. - Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to plant operations. - Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools. - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. - Ability to make decisions under pressure and effectively manage all aspects of plant operations.
