Job Description : GM FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS SINGAPORE seeking an experienced, strategic, and high-performing leader with over 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and taxation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and team leadership, with experience in managing complex, large-scale financial operations, preferably within a manufacturing, IT, or multi-national environment. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals to drive growth and profitability. Financial Reporting & Control: Oversee the preparation of financial statements (standalone & consolidated), ensuring compliance with Ind-AS, GAAP, or IFRS. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, providing actionable insights to executive leadership. Taxation & Compliance: Manage direct and indirect tax (Income Tax, GST, TDS) matters, including tax assessments, appeals, and compliance. Treasury & Cash Management: Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships. Audit & Internal Controls: Ensure strong internal controls and coordinate internal and external audits. Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and manage a large team of finance professionals (including CAs and managers). Process Improvement: Drive automation projects and enhance the efficiency of accounting procedures. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution. Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or similar senior role. Industry Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing, IT, or specific sector experience (e.g., jewellery, logistics) depending on the role. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP FICO, Oracle, etc.), MS Excel, and financial modeling. Core Competencies: Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
