Job Description : HEMM WORKSHOP HEAD NIGERIA 20-30 years experience 1. Fleet Maintenance & Operations Oversee complete maintenance of HEMM fleet including excavators, dumpers, dozers, loaders, graders, and other mining equipment. Ensure maximum equipment uptime and availability through preventive and predictive maintenance. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, SOPs, and best practices. Monitor breakdown analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring failures. 2. Budgeting & Cost Control Prepare annual maintenance budgets and monitor expenditure. Control maintenance costs, spare parts consumption, and inventory levels. Optimize equipment life cycle cost and improve cost efficiency. Prepare MIS reports related to maintenance cost, downtime, and productivity. 3. Planning & Resource Management Plan manpower deployment for shifts and breakdown management. Ensure proper planning of shutdowns, overhauling, and major repairs. Coordinate with operations team for equipment planning and deployment. Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables. 4. Team Leadership & Development Lead, train, and supervise engineers, supervisors, and technicians. Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development initiatives. Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies. 5. Safety & Compliance Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations. Promote safe working practices within workshop and field maintenance teams. Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures. 6. Vendor & Inventory Management Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for parts procurement and technical support. Negotiate contracts and service agreements. Maintain optimal spare parts inventory and warehouse control.
