Workshop Supervisor

Job Description : Workshop Supervisor – Mining Equipment Location: Fujairah, UAE About the Role We are looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor who has strong experience in mining & heavy equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in managing workshop operations, troubleshooting, spare parts planning, and leading a team of technicians. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise workshop technicians, mechanics, welders, and helpers. Perform maintenance and repair of mining & quarry equipment such as: Excavators Loaders Dozers Dump Trucks Crusher & Screening Equipment Drill Machines Ensure preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance is carried out as per schedule. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in heavy machines. Maintain job cards, work orders, service reports, and maintenance logs. Coordinate with stores for spare parts availability & inventory planning. Ensure adherence to safety standards and workshop SOPs. Reduce equipment downtime and improve overall fleet availability. Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports for management review. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience in mining or a heavy equipment workshop. Strong knowledge of CAT / Komatsu / Volvo / Doosan / Hitachi machinery. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field. Ability to manage team members and assign daily tasks. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational and reporting skills. UAE experience preferred.
