Job Description : Plant Manager – Beverages (Alcohol Industry) ???? Location: Uganda ???? Industry: Alcohol / Beverage Manufacturing ???? Experience: 10–15 Years ???? Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end plant operations: Manufacturing, Engineering, QA, Safety, Logistics, Procurement & Finance Ensure efficient production of distilled beverages and smooth warehousing activities Drive Annual Operating Plan (AOP), production & sales targets Lead budgeting, cost control, equipment selection & plant commissioning Implement SOPs for safety, quality & compliance Manage preventive maintenance & continuous process improvements Handle vendor development & regulatory compliance (Excise, statutory authorities) Lead Capex projects & plant expansion initiatives Build and manage high-performing teams & maintain strong government liaison ???? Qualification: B.Tech 1) in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering (Preferred) Additional certification such as Diploma in Distilling or certification from Institute of Brewing & Distilling will be an added advantage ? Skills Required: Strong background in distillation operations Proven plant & team management experience Excellent leadership, analytical & problem-solving skills Experience with compliance & regulatory coordination Computer proficiency (Tally & plant operation tools preferred)
