Job Description : Plant Head - Textiles - Uganda Location Plant Head / Business Head – Textiles EXP : 14+ Yeras 5+yrs as Plant head Location : Njeru (Jinja), Uganda Industry : Integrated Textile Manufacturing (Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Processing/Printing, Garments) Employment Type : Full-time, Expatriate Contract (2–3 years, renewable) Essential Qualifications & Experience • B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology from a recognised Indian institution (preferred: IIT Delhi, ICT Mumbai, NIFT, or equivalent) • MBA or equivalent business management qualification strongly preferred • Minimum 15–20 years of progressive experience in integrated textile manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head, VP Operations, or Business Head role • Demonstrated P&L management experience with full accountability for a manufacturing unit • Deep technical expertise across the complete textile value chain: spinning, weaving, knitting, processing/printing, and garment construction • Proven experience in managing large workforces (1,000+ employees) across multiple shifts • Strong working knowledge of SAP is essential – all business operations will be SAP-driven going forward, and the candidate must be well versed in using SAP for production planning, inventory management, financials, and operational reporting • Track record of successful automation/modernisation projects in textile manufacturing environments • Experience in greenfield or brownfield spinning plant setup and commissioning is highly desirable • Knowledge of knitting operations and knitted product development is a strong advantage
