Job Overview A leading Mining & Processing Company in the Non-Ferrous Metal sector is looking for an experienced Garage Manager to manage complete workshop operations and heavy mining fleet maintenance at site. ???? Key Responsibilities ???? Workshop & Fleet Management Oversee maintenance of HEMM – Dumpers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Dozers, Graders Ensure high equipment availability & minimum downtime Plan and execute preventive & breakdown maintenance ????????? Team Management Lead and supervise mechanics, electricians & technicians Monitor daily job cards and productivity Conduct training & safety toolbox talks ???? Planning & Reporting Maintain equipment history & maintenance MIS Monitor spare parts inventory & control costs Coordinate with OEMs & vendors for parts & warranty claims ? Compliance & Safety Implement workshop safety standards Ensure compliance with mining safety regulations Maintain 5S & workshop discipline ???? Desired Candidate Profile ? Experience in Mining / Heavy Equipment Industry ? Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance systems ? Budgeting & cost control experience ? ERP / SAP knowledge preferred ? African mining exposure is an added advantage
