Manager Administration 
20 yearsJob Description : Manager Administration Location- Nigeria Qualification – Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in HR/Admin preferred) Experience- Minimum 15 Years in an integrated Steel Plant The Manager – Administration will be responsible for overseeing complete plant administration activities including security management, facility management, statutory compliance, transport, canteen, township (if applicable), and liaisoning with local authorities. The role requires strong exposure to steel plant operations and experience in handling large workforce environments. Key Responsibilities 1. Plant Administration & Facility Management · Manage day-to-day plant administrative operations. · Oversee housekeeping, maintenance of administrative buildings, utilities, and common areas. · Ensure uninterrupted facility services across plant premises. · Supervise civil maintenance coordination for admin buildings. 2. Security & Safety Coordination · Manage plant security operations including manpower deployment and access control. · Coordinate with security agencies and monitor surveillance systems. · Ensure implementation of safety norms within administrative and common areas. 3. Contract & Vendor Management · Handle contracts related to housekeeping, security, canteen, transport, guest house, etc. · Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance. · Process contractor bills and coordinate with finance. 4. Transport & Logistics (Non-Production) · Manage employee transportation and vehicle fleet operations. · Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and driver deployment. 5. Canteen & Welfare Facilities · Supervise canteen operations ensuring hygiene and quality standards. · Oversee employee welfare facilities including rest rooms, drinking water, sanitation, etc. · Coordinate medical facilities and emergency arrangements. 6. Liaisoning & Statutory Compliance · Liaise with local government bodies, police, pollution control board, electricity department, and other statutory authorities. · Ensure compliance with local administration laws and regulations. · Handle factory license renewals and related documentation in coordination with HR/Legal. 7. Township / Guest House Management (If Applicable) · Oversee township maintenance including accommodation allotment. · Manage guest house operations and hospitality arrangements for visitors and management. 8. Crisis & Emergency Management · Handle labor unrest situations in coordination with HR. · Lead administrative response during emergencies such as strikes, natural calamities, or plant shutdowns. Required Skill Set · Strong exposure to steel plant administration environment. · Knowledge of local statutory compliance and liaisoning procedures. · Experience in handling large workforce and contractor manpower. · Good negotiation and vendor management skills. · Strong coordination and communication skills. · Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively.
