Job Description : Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts Location: EAST AFRICA Department: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: DGM – Finance 15+ years experience About the Organization Reputed Business Group operates across Asia, Africa, and Europe, with a diversified presence in FMCG, infrastructure, energy, digital services, financial services, real estate, textiles, and agriculture. Role Purpose The Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial control, statutory compliance, and audit management for infrastructure Division. The role supports a capital-intensive infrastructure environment, ensuring integrity of financial records, robust internal controls, timely closures, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This position will lead the Finance & Accounts team, work closely with Treasury and FP&A, coordinate audits, and strengthen ERP-driven processes and controls. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Control Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Stores Accounting, and Statutory Reporting. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures with proper reconciliations and documentation. Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and group reporting requirements. Maintain strong internal controls and maker–checker frameworks across all finance processes. Audit & Compliance Act as the primary point of contact for statutory, internal, and external auditors. Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance gaps. Oversee statutory compliances, including tax filings, regulatory submissions, and liaison with authorities. Qualifications & Experience Education: Chartered Accountant / MBA (Finance) or equivalent Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a similar finance leadership role Prior experience managing teams of 8–10 members Strong exposure to ERP systems and IT-enabled accounting environments Sound knowledge of International Accounting Practices Experience in external or internal audit / statutory accounting Preferred: Experience in infrastructure, ports, industrial projects, or capital-intensive environments
