Job Description : AGM -HR (Business Partnering) Location- Nigeria Qualification - MBA Experience : 12+ Role Summary The Sr. Manager / AGM HR (HRBP) will act as a strategic Human Resource Business Partner for plant operations, aligning HR initiatives with business goals. The role involves driving workforce planning, industrial relations, talent management, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and culture building in a heavy manufacturing environment. 1. Strategic HR Business Partnering · Partner with Plant Head and functional heads to align HR strategy with business objectives. · Drive manpower planning, productivity improvement, and workforce optimization. · Provide data-driven HR insights and dashboards for decision-making. 2. Industrial Relations (IR) & Union Management · Manage plant-level industrial relations and union negotiations. · Ensure harmonious employeremployee relationships. · Handle grievance redressal and disciplinary procedures. · Support wage settlements and long-term agreements. 3. Talent Management & Development · Drive performance management system (PMS) implementation. · Identify critical talent and succession planning for key roles. · Facilitate leadership development and technical capability enhancement. · Oversee training needs analysis and skill development programs. 4. Employee Engagement & Culture · Design and implement employee engagement initiatives. · Strengthen organizational culture aligned with safety and productivity. · Conduct employee surveys and action planning. 5. HR Operations & Compliance · Ensure statutory compliance under labor laws (Factories Act, CLRA, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.). · Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and HRIS accuracy. · Monitor contract labor compliance and vendor audits. · Maintain HR documentation and audit readiness. 6. Change Management & Organizational Development · Support business transformation initiatives. · Drive change management interventions in automation/digitalization initiatives. · Improve workforce efficiency and cost optimization. 7. Team Leadership · Lead and mentor plant HR team. · Build capability within HR operations and IR functions
