Job Description : Chief Operating Officer CANADA Open to overseas candidates Scope of the Role/ Span of Control: - Supply Chain Management (SCM): Strategic sourcing, vendor development, procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, import/export coordination, warehouse & inventory control, scrap disposal - Production & Manufacturing: Machine Shop (VMC/CNC), Sheet Metal, Heavy Fabrication, Assembly (Textile Automation, Car Parking Automation, Warehouse Storage automation); productivity, OEE, cost control. - Maintenance & Utilities: Preventive & predictive maintenance, uptime control, energy efficiency, spare management - Planning & PPC: MPS, MRP, capacity planning, load balancing, WIP governance, ERP adherence - Logistics & Dispatch: Freight optimization, dispatch planning, export documentation, OTIF governance. - Projects Execution Coordination: Production-execution synchronization; milestone governance; escalation control, delivery planning, dispatch readiness, product quality coordination. Key Role Specific Objectives: - Operational Excellence & Delivery, Lean transformation - Gross Margin Protection - Working Capital Management - Production Optimization, Digitalisation & Data Governance - Maintenance & Reliability - Leadership, People and safety - Vendor risk mitigation and all related compliances Ideal Candidate: - BE /ME - Mechanical / Production / IE with minimum 22 years' experience in manufacturing related to order specific large infrastructural projects - Automation (Textile, Warehouse, Material handling and parking automation) - The last 7-8 years of experience should be in leadership roles with specific exposure to Production & Manufacturing, SCM, Maintenance & Utilities, Planning & PPC, Logistics, Project Management and execution. - Should have good hands on experience in Lean Management, Operational Excellence, Working Capital Management, Compliances, vendor risk mitigation - Should have good experience in P&L management - Should have good knowledge in TPM, Quality systems, ERP, MRP, related operational compliances, - Should have excellent communication and presentation skills. - Applicants with above expertise can forward their profiles.
