Job Description : Senior Finance Manager – Canada Location: Canada Industry: Manufacturing / Mining / Infrastructure / Corporate Nationality: Open Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial management for the organization. The role will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting senior leadership in strategic decision-making. The candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls while managing finance teams and coordinating with auditors and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Monitor cash flow, cost control, and profitability analysis. Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies. Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions. Manage and mentor finance and accounting teams. Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and controls. Required Skills Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A). Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics / similar). Strong understanding of taxation and compliance regulations in Canada. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications CA / CPA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred. 10–15+ years of finance experience, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role. Experience working in large or multinational organizations preferred. Preferred Experience in Manufacturing, Mining, Infrastructure, or Construction sectors. Exposure to international finance operations or multi-entity management. Experience implementing ERP or financial systems.
