Job Description : GM AGRI MACHINE PRODUCTION ZIMBABWE 20+ years experience To provide strategic and operational leadership to the Company, driving sustainable growth, manufacturing excellence, commercial expansion, and market leadership in the design, production, and distribution of agricultural implements, transport equipment, and steel fabricated products. The General Manager is accountable for delivering superior financial performance, operational efficiency, customer value, innovation, and people capability, ensuring the company competes effectively in both local and international markets while maintaining strong governance and risk management standards Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations to achieve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery performance targets. Implement best practice manufacturing methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Continuous Improvement). Establish robust production planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimisation systems.. Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, including ERP utilisation, automation, and data-driven decision-making. Oversee engineering design, product development, and innovation processes to ensure competitive product offerings. Monitor operational KPIs (Overall Equipment Effectives (OEE), yield rates, downtime, defect rates, on-time delivery) and implement corrective improvement actions. Strengthen procurement and vendor management processes to ensure cost competitiveness and supply reliability. Maintain strong governance frameworks to manage operational risk, audit findings, and regulatory compliance.
