Vice President – Engineering

Job Description : Vice President – Engineering / Head – Projects for a leading retail organization based in Chennai. This senior leadership role will focus on driving the end-to-end execution of new store expansion projects, which includes civil construction, retail interiors, and showroom fit-outs across multiple locations in India. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with senior management to ensure timely delivery of new showrooms - Adhering to design standards and optimizing costs - Leading the Projects & Interiors team - Coordinating with architects, vendors, and internal stakeholders - Establishing strong systems and processes for large-scale retail rollout programs Ideal candidates will have: - 25+ years of experience in construction, retail interiors, or multi-site project execution - Strong expertise in retail fit-outs, civil works, vendor management, and team leadership - A BE (Civil) degree and significant experience leading project teams in retail chains or multi-location businesses Location: Chennai Compensation: ?85 L – ?1.2 Cr Travel: Required across India for showroom expansion projects
