Production Manager

Job Description : Production Manager THAILAND Industry: Offset Printing and Packaging Industry (Monocarton) to manage and control all in-process manufacturing activities on the shop floor. The role focuses on printing and conversion operations, manpower handling, quality control during production, and achieving daily output targets efficiently. Company Overview: The company specializes in the production of high-quality packaging materials and solutions for various industries, including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods. The company is one of the largest producers of high-quality, stiff food-grade boxes and cartons made from Paperboard and Corrugated Board. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: In-Process Production Management • Supervise and control in-process operations including Printing (conventional and UV), UV coatings (Full gloss UV/Drip-off / Spot UV, Mat UV), Hot foiling stamping, die cutting, and Pasting machines. • Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production schedule • Ensure correct job setup, specifications, and process parameters at each stage • Monitor job flow between machines to avoid bottlenecks and delays Manpower & Shop Floor Control • Allocate and manage manpower across machines and shifts • Maintain discipline, safety, and cleanliness on the shop floor • Adjust manpower and machine planning based on production priorities Quality & Process Control • Ensure quality is maintained at every in-process stage • Coordinate with Quality team for inspections and corrective actions • Identify defects early and take immediate corrective measures Reporting & Improvement • Maintain production records, reports, and job status updates • Troubleshoot machine or process issues and coordinate with Maintenance when required • Suggest and implement process improvements to improve productivity and reduce wastage Skills and Qualifications: • Degree or Diploma in Printing or Packaging (preferred) • Degree or Diploma in Production or Mechanical Engineering Acceptable. • 15+ Years of experience on printing/packaging machines. • Strong hands-on knowledge of printing and packaging processes • Experience in managing shop floor production and manpower • Ability to troubleshoot process issues quickly • Good leadership and coordination skills • Comfortable working under pressure to meet targets • Knowledge of Hindi, English,
