We are currently hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a leading Agri Commodities business in East Africa. ???? Location: Kenya / Malawi / Tanzania ???? Role Type: Expat Opportunity ???? Status: Bachelor status for the initial 1 year East Africa experience is must The COO will play a strategic leadership role in steering the organization’s end-to-end operations, including Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Quality Control, and Sales Operations, while driving the company’s overall growth and profitability agenda. ???? Key Focus Areas: • Driving operational excellence across the agri-commodity value chain • Leading international trade and supply chain strategy • Building scalable operational frameworks across East Africa • Strengthening partnerships and market expansion • Aligning boardroom vision with on-ground execution • Driving sustainable revenue growth and long-term value creation ???? Ideal Profile: ? Senior leader with strong experience in Agri Commodities / Trading businesses ? Proven exposure to East African markets ? Deep expertise in international trade, supply chain, and operational strategy ? Strong leadership capability to drive business growth and ecosystem partnerships This role requires a leader who can move beyond short-term operational performance and orchestrate systemic value creation across markets and sectors.
