Mechanical Engineer

Job Description : Mechanical Engineer – Pasta Manufacturing Mandatory experience in pasta manufacturing We are looking for a specialized Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in pasta manufacturing to join an industrial pasta production facility in Nigeria, Africa. This role will be responsible for maintaining production lines, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring consistent product quality. ???? Experience Required: 8+ Years ???? Key Requirements Hands-on experience with FAVA and Pavan production lines Strong knowledge of presses and stick-handling systems Expertise in maintaining motors, gearboxes, vacuum systems, and extrusion heads Ability to troubleshoot PLC logic, sensors, and relays Ability to read technical drawings (blueprints, wiring, hydraulics) ???? Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical repairs, overhauls, and maintenance of pasta production lines Manage the pasta drying process (temperature & humidity control) to ensure quality Use maintenance systems such as SAP / CMMS to track performance and prevent breakdowns Coordinate with equipment vendors and production teams Manage spare parts inventory and procurement
