20 yearsJob Description : COUNTRY SALES MANAGER GHANA A results-driven Sales Manager is sought to lead country-level sales and after-sales support for the distributor of World’s leading Air Compressor brand in Ghana — combining aggressive business development with technical service excellence across compressor sales, maintenance, and parts. K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S Sales & Business Development • Drive country-wide sales of air compressors across industrial, manufacturing, construction, and mining sectors • Identify, develop and manage key accounts, OEMs, contractors, and dealer networks across Ghana • Develop and execute annual sales plans, achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets • Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and opportunity identification for growth segments • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms with clients After-Sales: Service, Maintenance & Parts • Oversee service operations including preventive maintenance contracts (AMCs), breakdown response, and warranty management • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components and timely order fulfilment • Build and lead a team of service engineers and technicians; ensure training and certification compliance • Develop service revenue through extended warranties, AMCs, and retrofit/upgrade programmes • Ensure high customer satisfaction scores and prompt resolution of technical complaints Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline • 10+ years of experience in industrial equipment sales; compressed air industry strongly preferred • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B / industrial markets • Hands-on sales knowledge of air compressors (rotary screw, reciprocating, centrifugal) & pneumatic systems • Experience managing after-sales service teams and parts supply chains • Prior exposure to African markets — West Africa / Ghana experience is a strong advantage • Valid passport; willingness to relocate and travel extensively within Ghana • Should have experience of working for Atlas Copco, Ingersol Rand, Kaeser Kompressoren etc S K I L L S & C O M P E T E N C I E S • Strong B2B sales & negotiation skills • Technical aptitude for compressor systems • Team leadership & people management • CRM tools & sales reporting proficiency • Customer service & complaint resolution • Fluent English; French an added advantage • Cross-cultural adaptability for West Africa • Strategic planning & P&L accountability
