General Manager

Job Description : General Manager NIGERIA Department: Electrical/ Automation Reporting To: General Manager / Head of Projects Experience: 15+ Years Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical / Electronics Engineering Purpose of the Role :- To be the technical anchor for all electrical engineering, procurement, inspection, commissioning and after-sales activities across projects, while progressively building in-house capability and reducing sub-supplier dependence. Technical Knowledge Required : AC and DC drives, motor selection for heavy duty applications, MCC and panel engineering, cable and transformer sizing, PLC-based control systems (Siemens / ABB preferred), Profibus / Profinet / Ethernet IP, industrial instrumentation, FAT and SAT procedures, IS / IEC standards. Experience Required : Prior experience in steel cold rolling mills, continuous process lines, or heavy industrial capital equipment is essential. Candidates from drive OEMs or system integrators serving the steel industry will be preferred. Willingness to travel to vendor works and project sites up to 20–30% of the time is required.
