Job Description : Group Head of Internal Audit (Leadership Role) ???? Are you a seasoned audit professional ready to build and lead an Internal Audit function from the ground up? This is a unique opportunity to take on a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Board of Directors. ???? Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (with regular travel) ???? Key Responsibilities: Establish and lead the Internal Audit Department aligned with global standards (IPPF) Design and implement Audit Charter, Audit Manual & frameworks Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan across diverse business units Drive process improvements, SOP development & internal controls standardization Implement modern audit tools, CAATs & automation Lead fraud detection, forensic audits & surprise audits Build and mentor a high-performing audit team ???? What We’re Looking For: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years in Internal Audit Mandatory CIA certification (Six Sigma preferred) Proven expertise in risk-based auditing & multi-sector exposure Strong experience in setting up audit functions from scratch Willingness to travel extensively ???? This role is ideal for someone who can move beyond compliance and drive strategic, risk-focused audit practices while strengthening governance across organizations.
