Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Operations, Garment Export House, Gurgaon Salary Range INR 80 lcs to INR 1 Crore per annum Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the entire operational activities of the garment manufacturing business, ensuring efficient production, quality control, cost management, and timely delivery of products to clients. The role requires strong leadership to manage production units, supply chain, quality assurance, and operational teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Production & Manufacturing Management Oversee garment production planning and execution to achieve daily and monthly targets. Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, manpower, and production lines. Implement lean manufacturing and productivity improvement initiatives. Monitor factory performance including efficiency, wastage, and downtime. 2. Operations Strategy Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and profitability. Align manufacturing operations with business growth plans. Introduce systems for process improvement and automation where required. 3. Supply Chain & Procurement Supervise procurement of fabrics, trims, and accessories. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely availability of materials. Monitor inventory and maintain cost control in purchasing. 4. Quality Control Ensure garments meet international quality standards. Implement strong quality assurance systems and inspections. Reduce rejection rates and improve customer satisfaction. 5. Cost & Budget Management Monitor production costs and operational budgets. Implement measures to reduce wastage and increase efficiency. Maintain profitability while ensuring quality and delivery commitments. 6. Logistics & Delivery Ensure timely shipment of finished goods to domestic and international clients. Coordinate with logistics and export departments. 7. Team Leadership Lead and supervise production managers, factory managers, and operational staff. Develop strong team performance and accountability culture. Ensure training and development of operational teams. 8. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and safety standards. Maintain ethical and sustainable manufacturing practices.
