Job Description : HEMM HEAD GUYANA A leading heavy equipment company is seeking a Head of HEMM to manage the maintenance and operation of mining and construction machinery. The role requires over 15 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with responsibilities including planning maintenance, supervising teams, and enforcing safety protocols. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills. 15+ years of extensive experience in heavy equipment maintenance, particularly HEMM in mining/heavy industry. Deep knowledge of heavy equipment systems (fuel, brakes, electrical, transmission) and diagnostic skills. Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance schedules for the entire HEMM fleet. Supervise, train, and mentor mechanics and technicians. Ensure equipment availability through lifecycle strategies. Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage budgets, optimize resource utilization, and control costs.
