Job Description : Sr. GM - Finance Controller SURINAME Experience Required:- 15 years+ Qualification - CA Industry - Renewable sector Must have experience in SAP software. Summary: Must be lead the overall financial strategy, control, and governance of the organization’s renewable energy portfolio. The role involves financial planning, project finance, budgeting, compliance, and stakeholder management, acting as a key business partner to leadership for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities : 1. Financial Strategy & Planning - Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategy for solar/wind projects. - Provide strategic financial insights to leadership for business growth and investment decisions. - Develop and review financial models for project feasibility and profitability. 2. Project Finance & Fundraising - Lead project finance activities, including debt/equity structuring, fundraising, and financial closure. - Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions. - Support M&A, due diligence, and investment evaluations. 3. Financial Control & Reporting - Oversee accounting, MIS, financial reporting, and consolidation across multiple SPVs. - Ensure accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital management. - Monitor budget vs actuals and variance analysis. 4. Compliance, Audit & Governance - Ensure compliance with IND AS, taxation (direct & indirect), and regulatory requirements. - Lead internal and statutory audits and strengthen financial controls. - Implement robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks. 5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management - Manage cash flow, fund utilization, and working capital optimization. - Oversee banking operations, debt servicing, and liquidity planning. 6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Lead and mentor finance & accounts teams across projects and corporate functions. - Act as a business partner to CEO/CFO and cross-functional teams (projects, legal, SCM). - Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
