Job Description : Factory Manager – Rigid Packaging KENYA 20+ years experience Job Purpose: The role is responsible for leading end-to-end factory operations for rigid packaging manufacturing, ensuring high standards of production efficiency, quality, safety, and cost optimization across all processes including PET preforms, closures, injection and blow molding, and related packaging technologies Key Responsibilities include: • Overseeing complete factory operations including production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch • Driving operational excellence through OEE improvement, cost optimization, and waste reduction • Managing manufacturing processes such as PET preforms, closures, injection molding, blow molding, thinwall, IML, crates, and offset printing • Leading plant budgeting, cost control, and profitability initiatives • Planning and executing production schedules to meet business targets • Leading plant expansion, installation, and commissioning projects • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and audit requirements (ISO, customer audits, etc.) • Managing large cross-functional teams, including hiring, training, and performance management • Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for seamless operations • Driving continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, TPM, and automation
