20 yearsJob Description : TECHNICAL HEAD MEXICO FOR AUTO This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all technical training programs within an automotive manufacturing plant, preferably focused on braking systems (machining of critical components, caliper and disc assembly, boosters, ABS modules, etc.). The objective is to ensure that engineers, technicians, and operators consistently meet the required technical, safety, and performance standards in highly automated and regulated production environments. The position combines strategic vision, strong leadership, and deep technical expertise in robotics, CNC programming, and manufacturing digitalization. It serves as a key bridge between Management, Engineering, Production, and Quality, driving both workforce capability development and Industry 4.0 implementation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design and implement the plant's technical training and digitalization strategy aligned with automotive manufacturing goals Develop structured training programs inindustrial robotics, including robot programming, path optimization, PLC integration, and troubleshooting of robotic cells Coordinate Master Engineers / Technical Trainers, assigning courses based on identified skills gaps in CNC machining, automated assembly lines, and robotic workstations. Ensure effective knowledge transfer inCNC programming, including G & M code interpretation, parameter optimization, precision machining, and dimensional control of safety-critical brake components. Oversee training quality in automation systems such as PLCs, IPCs, HMIs, vision systems, and integrated robot–CNC cells. Implement performance metrics, certification processes, and competency tracking systems for technical personnel. Support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives, including OEE tracking, real-time production monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with Process Engineering and Maintenance teams to identify technical capability gaps during new product launches or process changes. Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and automotive regulations (IATF, ISO, etc.). Technical Requirements Strong hands-on knowledge ofindustrial robotics(programming, integration, cycle time optimization, and fault diagnosis). Solid experience inCNC programming and machining, including setup, parameter adjustment, blueprint reading, and tolerance control in automotive components. Proficiency inPLC/IPC systems, automation architecture, and industrial communication protocols. Experience inmanufacturing digitalization and Industry 4.0, including data acquisition systems, MES integration, OEE monitoring, and performance analytics. Proven experience leading structured technical training programs in high-precision manufacturing environments. Advanced use of digital tools for training management and performance tracking (Power BI, advanced Excel, SAP or similar ERP/MES systems). Knowledge of industrial safety and regulatory compliance in automated production facilities.
