Job Description : FINANCE HEAD TANZANIA 10-15 years experience • Compile and present detailed monthly, quarterly reports for Senior Management perusal and act as a focal point in preparing year- end. • Key member of the leadership team, administering all accounting functions for this Bottling Plant with a $50 million annual revenue. • Manage team of Expats, encouraging personal and professional development of the culturally diverse department. • Establishing documented systems, policies and procedures in finance and accounts. • Establishment and implementation of accounting controls and internal controls. • Devised and deployed multiple cost saving initiatives resulting in a 20% reduction in company expenditure. • Partnered with the IT department to implement the Oracle Based ERP Software, which included the creation and implementation of accounting policies and practices supporting this new software. • Liaising with the Banks and maintain a record of getting the funds at the lowest interest as compared to other group companies • Preparing the Annual Budget after liaising and discussing with all the Departmental Heads. • Monthly comparison of Budgets with Actuals and giving and analysis of the variance to the management. • Benefiting the company, with Product Mix Strategy on a time to time basis and thus achieving the target of Profitable sales. • Prepared Internal and External financial and tax statements for review by corporate and external Audit teams.
