IMPORT/EXPORT MANAGER

Job Description : IMPORT/EXPORT MANAGER GHANA 15+ years experience Developing and implementing strategies to optimize import and export operations. Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Managing customs clearance processes to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Negotiating shipping rates and contracts with carriers and logistics providers. Preparing and reviewing documentation for shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations. Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Collaborating with sales and purchasing departments to align import-export activities with business objectives. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of international trade laws and regulations. Managing and mitigating risks associated with international logistics. Handling claims and disputes related to shipping and customs processes. Import Export Manager Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field. Master's degree or additional certifications in international trade or supply chain management. Fluency in multiple languages ( English and French) Proven experience in managing international logistics and trade compliance. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of global market trends and dynamics. Proficiency with logistics software and systems. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a similar field. Prior experience in import/export operations or related logistics roles. Thorough understanding of international trade laws and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency with office and logistics management software.
