Job Description : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) ????Mozambique - Eastern Africa Mount Meru Group, a leading business conglomerate with a strong and growing presence across Africa, is looking for a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, we operate across diverse sectors including downstream petroleum, edible oil manufacturing, LPG, lubricants, logistics, and infrastructure. Role Overview As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) , you will lead financial strategy and operations across entities, with ownership of FP&A, treasury, compliance, and risk management. The role focuses on capital structuring, liquidity management, forex management and data-driven financial planning, while supporting fundraising, lender negotiations, and regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting Drive risk management frameworks and ensure compliance excellence Oversee financial reporting, audits, and tax planning Manage fundraising, banking relationships, and capital optimization Provide actionable insights to support business decision-making Ensure strong corporate governance and regulatory compliance Build and mentor high-performing finance teams Candidate Profile Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory MBA / Postgraduate in Management (preferred) 15–20 years of overall experience, with 12–15 years in relevant roles Strong expertise in financial management, taxation, and regulatory frameworks Prior experience in edible oil, downstream petroleum, or related industries with Africa experience will be an added advantage Proven track record of managing large-scale business operations (USD 50M + turnover or above) Proven leadership capabilities with a strategic and agile mindset
