20 yearsJob Description : COMMERCIAL HEAD NIGERIA Key Responsibilities Procurement Process Lead local procurement function Optimise spares planning, economic order quantities, and working capital management. Develop and execute cost-effective sourcing strategies while ensuring quality and continuity of supply. Build and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, OEMs, logistics partners, and contractors. Drive strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and long-term contracting to improve cost competitiveness and supply reliability. Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels and KPIs. Stores & Inventory Operations Oversee site stores handling spares, consumables, fuels, raw materials, and critical equipment. Ensure inventory optimisation, stock accuracy, material traceability, and audit compliance. Implement controls to minimise stock-outs, obsolescence, and excess inventory. Logistics Manage inbound and outbound logistics covering mine, plant, and inter-plant movements. Drive logistics efficiency through optimisation of freight costs, turnaround time, and service levels. Internal Audit & Governance Ensure audit of all running contractor bills, local vendors facility (wherever applicable) and monthly reconciliation of raw material/work in progress stock. Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, safety, and ESG standards Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, systems, and cost efficiency Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Mining, Maintenance, Finance, Projects, and Legal NIGERIA Key Responsibilities Procurement Process Lead local procurement function Optimise spares planning, economic order quantities, and working capital management.
